Both Gary Fisher and Trek have updated their websites with their 2009 models. For 2009, Gary Fisher is introducing a line of road bikes. I already have a mountain bike and it would be nice to have a road bike too. However, I have other financial priorities. I can dream though.

2009 Gary Fisher and Trek Bikes
Both Gary Fisher and Trek have updated their websites with their 2009 models. For 2009, Gary Fisher is introducing a line of road bikes. I already have a mountain bike and it would be nice to have a road bike too. However, I have other financial priorities. I can dream though.

Hello, I'm new to all this mountain biking things and I was looking at the Trek 450 and 4300 but then saw the GF Opie. I don't know which one would be better for me. I know I want a hard tail but want to keep it less than $700. What bike do you recommend? Is there another brand I shoul look at within that price range?
