High School Buddy

One of my old high school buddies contacted me through www.classmates.com. I was quite surprised to hear from him. We probably hung out together in high school for about 2 or 2 1/2 years. We lost touch with each other after high school. The last time I spoke to him was at our 5 year reunion 20 years ago. I am curious why he contacted me after 20 years. He asked for my e-mail and telephone number. Did he get sentimental and decide to reach out to old high school buddies? Is he recruiting for Amway? He did send me a lengthy e-mail telling me his life story for the past 25 years, condensed of course. I will e-mail him back. I am still puzzled by this though.
